About Zodia Markets
Zodia Markets was incorporated in 2021 and is a majority owned subsidiary of Zodia Holdings Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Chartered PLC.
Zodia Custody and Zodia Markets are independent from each other, but both have Standard Chartered as a majority shareholder. All assets held at either Zodia Markets or Zodia Custody are held in the client’s name and are fully segregated.
We offer a range of services to clients globally. We currently operate in the UK, Ireland, Abu Dhabi, and Jersey.
We are headquartered in the UK and are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK’s financial regulatory body.
Yes, Zodia Markets is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority as a Cryptoasset Firm and complies with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer for Funds Regulations 2017 as amended. We are also registered with the Central Bank of Ireland, Jersey, and Abu Dhabi Global Markets have given in principle approval.

You can trade Over-The-Counter (OTC) with our trading desk or directly on our exchange which operates a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB).
Yes, you can connect to our exchange via FIX or REST API and place orders on the order book. You can also connect to our RFQ service via REST API. Both exchange and RFQ are also available via the Web GUI. Additionally, we are integrated with a number of multi-asset and crypto native order routing software platforms.
At present, Zodia Markets offer spot liquidity in BTC, ETH, UNI, LINK, AAVE and COMP. We do have plans to add coins going forward and welcome client input to assess demand. Only digital assets that pass our own due diligence and risk assessment will be added to the platform.
Zodia Markets currently supports USDC and USDT, and is exploring other stablecoins.
No, Zodia Markets only offers services to institutional clients.
Zodia Markets does not offer digital asset custody services but has integrated with select custodians to offer a seamless trading and execution capability without assets leaving the safety of the custodian until trade settlement. We believe it is important to keep the activities of custody and execution separate to avoid potential conflicts of interest. No, although backed by Standard Chartered, Zodia Markets only offers Exchange and Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading services.
About our legal and privacy procedures
Zodia Markets offers institutional-grade levels of regulatory compliance, risk management, and transparency. The company has a risk management framework which is overseen by the Zodia Markets Holdings Board, and Zodia Markets also maintains an Executive Risk Committee which reviews all risk limits, new initiatives, and risk frameworks.
Zodia Markets has an established AML/CTF, Sanctions, Fraud and ABC compliance programme, which includes comprehensive policies, procedures, and internal controls related to customer identification and verification; customer due diligence, and where appropriate, enhanced due diligence; and ongoing transaction monitoring to identify and report suspicious activity, consistent with the anti-money laundering requirements which apply in the UK and Ireland.
Zodia Markets’ Policies and Standards are based on ISO27001/2. This consists of policies, procedures and other controls involving people, process, and technology. Informed by regular security risk assessments, the programme is an efficient, risk-based, and technology-neutral approach to keeping information assets secure.
