Important notice: beware of impersonators or clone firms

Imitation is often seen as recognition.
In financial services, it is also a responsibility.

We are aware of instances where unauthorised parties are falsely presenting themselves as representing Zodia Markets (UK) Limited. In some cases, these parties are using our name, address, contact details and even quoting a genuine Firm Reference Number (FRN).

Zodia Markets does not engage with retail consumers (individual members of the public). We provide services exclusively to professional and institutional clients (corporates and financial institutions). Any approach made to individual consumers claiming to represent our firm is not authorised.

How to protect yourself from impersonation scams?

How can you protect yourself?

  • Never provide personal details, passwords or answers to security questions by email or via chat channels such as Telegram or WhatsApp. We never make these requests and would not contact you in this way.
  • Never send funds to anyone you do not know. Take time to verify before proceeding.
  • Be cautious of repeated or persistent contact over a short period.
  • Do not feel pressured to act immediately. A legitimate firm will always allow time for consideration.
  • If an offer or request appears inconsistent or unclear, pause and reassess.
  • You can verify whether a financial services firm is authorised by accessing the FCA Register directly: https://register.fca.org.uk
