Prior to Zodia Markets, Usman spent 18 years in financial services, predominantly in technology, enterprise leadership and strategic transformation roles across both Merrill Lynch and HSBC, spanning London, New York and Hong Kong.
Nick Philpott
Nick Philpott is a market structure specialist with 15 years experience and is the Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships at Zodia Markets, a cryptoasset brokerage and exchange business based in the UK.
Bharvi Hadani
Bharvi Hadani brings a wealth of experience to the team from a range of cross asset business areas within various financial institutions including Barclays Capital, HSBC, BNP Paribas, BGC Brokers and more recently NatWest Markets.
Mark Richardson
Previously, Mark was Head of Prime Brokerage
Equity Finance at Credit Suisse EMEA where he
was responsible for migrating the Prime trading
business from London to Dublin. He began his
financial markets career in Goldman Sachs
Equity Finance before moving to UBS as a sales
trader focusing on US institutional clients.
Buford Scott
Buford Scott is Chief Financial Officer of Zodia
Markets, where he leads the finance function
including treasury, funding, financial reporting,
financial planning, budgeting, financial control,
and product control across all Zodia Markets
entities.
Dina White
Prior to her current role, Dina spent much of her career at Bank of New York Mellon and U.S. Bancorp, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate trustee work and complex financial products.
Andrew Price
Previously, at Revolut Andrew built and lead the Global Authorisations Department responsible for all regulatory applications from initial licence scoping through to becoming authorised and operational entities.
Mark Mathews
Mark Matthews is a 22+ year veteran across the 1LOD within Financial Markets and currently Chief Risk Officer at Zodia Markets.
Saira Hassan
Saira Hassan is the Chief Information Security Officer at Zodia Markets where she provides leadership on the Cyber Security strategy, control design, and governance. The program combines Standard Chartered’s Cyber Security Risk Framework with innovation and best practices from the Standard Chartered Ventures group and OSL.
Giovanni Miano
Giovanni is the Chief Technology Officer at Zodia Markets, where he leads the technology strategy. He started his career as a software developer and has spent the last 20 years holding several leadership positions with top investment banks, financial institutions, and trading companies, most recently working as the CTO at Bequant where he was in charge of creating the company’s entire technical infrastructure.
Fei Yang
Fei Yang is Head of Operations. Fei’s career spans both buy-side and sell-side financial institutions, and both traditional and digital assets. As the architect and creator of Zodia Markets’ bespoke operational workflow, her mantra has always been, “Do it right, do it once”.
Ayad Butt
Ayad spent 16 years in New York, Singapore and Hong Kong running FX Options Trading books as a senior trader at Citibank and Credit Suisse and as a Macro Portfolio Manager at Astignes Capital before starting his entrepreneurial journey as the founder of 5 Lanes Limited, a Crypto trading business specialising in derivatives and structured products.
